Tuesdays in the Columbine neighborhoods sound a certain way — mowers starting up two streets over, then one street over, then out front. Grassbusters keeps that weekly circuit going all summer, mowing, trimming and edging yard after yard until an entire block is running on the same clock. There is something companionable in it: nobody's lawn is the tall one, everybody's edges land the same day. When the season flips, the same route comes back with plows and shovels for the drives and the walks, and the block keeps its rhythm straight through the snow months. Same trucks, same streets, different tool in hand.
