About Fiske Brothers Yardworks

October in Littleton is a two-week gift — cold nights, warm noons, and the old street trees around Sterne Park turning loose all at once. Fiske Brothers Yardworks spends that stretch behind a rake, hauling the year's leaves off lawns that still want one last cut before the frost settles in for good. The rest of the year they run the ordinary rounds: cutting the grass, trimming the borders, keeping the edges honest through a summer that swings from downpour to drought. Autumn is when the work shows most plainly, though — a lawn raked bare, the curb line swept, the whole yard sitting quiet and ready. Then the leaves are gone, and the yard sleeps.
