About mountain man snow removal

Snow tends to arrive twice: once falling, and again the next day as the wind picks it up and moves it somewhere new. mountain man snow removal works both halves of that. Drives and approaches are plowed open, and the ones the drift finds again get returned to, because a drift can fill a lane in an hour. Walks and entries are shoveled and gritted wherever packed snow turns slick underfoot. When the wind finally lies down and the sky goes hard and blue, the drives and walks along these roads are open and passable — which is the entire point.
