About Roots Up Tree Company

The old blocks of Lafayette have real canopy — ash and maple shading a whole street by August — and the ground beneath them is its own kind of lawn. Roots Up Tree Company works at that level: mowing in the dappled shade, trimming around trunks and surface roots, edging the beds, and hauling off the leaf drop when the canopy comes down in autumn. Grass under big trees wants a lighter touch and a longer cut, and the litter it collects never really stops. Get it right and the yard reads cool and green in a town otherwise wide open to the sun. Shade is a resource out here, and the ground under it deserves to be kept tidy.
