A yard in Lafayette starts as a rectangle of plains and a long look west, where the Indian Peaks stack up blue behind the town. 1st Green Colorado works inside that frame — design and installation, plus the mowing, edging and seasonal cleanups that keep a finished yard looking the way it did the day it went in. Early spring here is all possibility: bare soil, cold light, and a plan drawn to fit the wind and the sun on this side of the range. Then the beds fill, the turf knits, and the lines sketched in March start holding their shape in June. That is the pleasure of it — watching a drawing become a place someone stands in with their coffee.
