About Valley Ground Inc.

Eight miles up the river the adobe walls of Bent's Old Fort still stand square against the same wind and light that shape every yard in La Junta — a reminder that keeping ground in this valley has always been a full-year proposition. Valley Ground Inc. takes it exactly that way: mowing, edging and trimming through the growing months, cleanups at either end of the season, then plowing, shoveling and ice control once the cold comes down the Arkansas. Summer here is bright and demanding, winter short and sudden, and both reward somebody who arrives on schedule rather than after the fact. The result is a property that never looks let go — trim in August, walkable in January. Same ground, tended straight through.
