About The Lawn Guy

Kit Carson began as a railroad town on the open prairie, and it still carries that frontier name with a plainspoken kind of pride. The Lawn Guy keeps yards here mown and green, which is no small thing in Cheyenne County, where the summer sun is fierce and the wind seldom rests. A trimmed lawn along a quiet street is a welcome sight to anyone rolling in off the highway after long miles of shortgrass. The gentlest hours come early, when the air is still cool and meadowlarks call from the fence posts. By midday the yard is cut, edged and ready to stand up to the heat.
