About R Lawn LLC

Julesburg holds down the far northeast corner of Colorado, where the South Platte comes in from Nebraska under a line of old cottonwoods and the horizon runs uninterrupted in every direction you look. R Lawn LLC works the whole year out here — mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, aerating and cleaning up through the growing months, then plowing, clearing drives and lots, shoveling walks and treating ice once the blizzards start closing I-76. Wind is the constant: it browns a lawn in July and it stacks a driveway shut in January, sometimes on a day when nothing new has even fallen. Standing up to that is a matter of showing up regularly, which is less a strategy than a habit. On a summer evening with the grass cut and the light going orange over Sedgwick County, the habit looks like something.
