Ascent Snowplowing

About Ascent Snowplowing

Storms reach Gypsum from the northwest, spilling over the Flat Tops long before they ever touch the valley floor. You learn to read them. Ascent Snowplowing keeps the hours those storms keep, plowing and shoveling driveways, walkways and lots from up in the Gypsum Creek drainage down to the flats where town spreads out toward the river. There is a plainness to the job worth honoring: a truck, a blade, a two a.m. alarm, and a street that looks like nobody had to fight for it. Snow up here comes dry and light and it drifts, so the same drive can want two passes before daylight. It gets two.
