The Cache la Poudre comes out of its canyon cold and clear, then runs the length of Greeley to meet the South Platte east of town. Clearwater Landscaping keeps the yards along that green corridor through the mowing season — cutting, edging, raking and clearing what the season drops. In winter the river ices at its edges and the work moves to pavement: plowed drives, shoveled walks, de-icer where the north side of a house never sees sun. Cottonwoods along the trail throw shade in July and let go all at once in October, so the lawns beneath them ask for something different every month. Work covers Greeley, Evans, Kersey and LaSalle.
