Timberline Snow Management

About Timberline Snow Management

Once Trail Ridge Road closes for the winter, Grand Lake becomes a town at the end of the road, and snow gathers in feet rather than inches. Timberline Snow Management plows and clears through that long white stretch, opening drives, lots and walkways so the town can keep moving. The real work starts in the dark, under a sky so cold and clear the constellations seem close enough to brush, while snowmobiles wait in the sheds for daylight. Morning finds a clean lane cut down to the gravel, banks squared at the edges and porch steps clear for the first coffee outside. That is the satisfaction of it: winter can run as deep as it likes, and the way out stays open.
