About WD Yards Inc

When a storm slides down off the Book Cliffs and Mount Garfield vanishes behind it, the Grand Valley wakes up to a driveway that has to be gone by six. WD Yards Inc runs the plow through those dark hours in Grand Junction and Clifton — driveways, lots, sidewalks — so the coffee-and-headlights crowd can reach the highway without touching a shovel. The same yards come back in April as mud and matted thatch, and then the mowers, string trimmers and rakes get their turn: winter debris hauled off, edges recut, weekly cuts running straight through the peach-heat of August. Two seasons, one crew, the same stubborn interest in a place that looks finished. There is honest satisfaction in a plowed apron with square corners and a lawn with a line you could measure.
