Wrench Worx GSE

About Wrench Worx GSE

Winter here comes in fast and leaves in a hurry: a night of snow off the Book Cliffs, then a hard blue morning that has the whole valley dripping by noon. Wrench Worx GSE works the dark end of that — blades down at three in the morning, lots opened up, drives cut wide, walks taken back to bare concrete before the first light reaches the red rock of the Colorado National Monument. By the time coffee is going along Aspen Avenue and the trucks are pulling out toward the orchards and the interstate, the pavement is already clear. It is a quiet sort of satisfaction, counted in driveways finished and nobody late for anything. Snow plowing and clearing for Fruita and the towns strung along this end of the valley.
