East of Fruita the Grand Mesa carries its snow all winter, and Mount Garfield stands dark against it at first light. On a December morning after a storm, DJ's Landscaping LLC is out beneath that skyline plowing driveways and shoveling walks while the valley is still blue. In the warm months the same trucks pull mowers, and the work becomes cutting, trimming and holding landscape beds in shape through a long growing season. Both halves of the year come down to the same thing: a property that looks cared for on the day it matters. Snow gets moved before the commute, grass gets cut before anyone could call it neglected.
