Mav's Mowing Service

About Mav's Mowing Service

The first cut of the year lands when the grass finally quits sulking and the whole town goes green in about ten days. Mav's Mowing Service takes it from there — mowing, trimming the edges around posts and beds, running a true line along the drive, and sweeping the clippings back onto the grass where they belong. Some yards have grit to them; a mower that follows the ground instead of fighting it leaves a much better finish. From the first cut until the first hard cool-down it is a weekly errand. Unglamorous, and satisfying every time the last pass closes the pattern.
