Greenlawn Sod & Turf

About Greenlawn Sod & Turf

Turf is a crop in Morgan County, same as corn or beets, coming up green under the same ditch water and the same wide sky. Greenlawn Sod & Turf handles the lawn side of that around Fort Morgan: sod and turf work, mowing, trimming, and the cleanups that keep a yard even from the first cut of the year to the last. A new lawn laid tight, seam to seam, knitting in and greening over within a couple of weeks — few things are more satisfying to stand back and look at. Late in the day the light comes in low across the plains and a fresh-mown yard turns nearly gold. That view is the whole point of the work.
