About SMG Landscaping

Fort Lupton keeps two calendars. One opens when a chinook comes down off the foothills in March, eats the last drift in the shade of the fence, and the grass out by the old trading-post ground above the South Platte turns its first believable green — mowing, trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanups, beds cut back into shape. The other opens the first night the plow lights go on: clearing drives and lots, shoveling walks, keeping ice off the entries. SMG Landscaping keeps both, which is really one long job worked with different tools. It is a good way to come to know a town — every yard in summer, every approach and turning space in winter, and a memory of which corner drifts shut first.
