The Rooted Plow

About The Rooted Plow

At four in the morning in Fort Lupton, a storm can still be coming down white and heavy while the rest of the town sleeps through it. That is the hour The Rooted Plow keeps: driveways and walkways opened while the town is dark and the plow lights swing across the yards. Snow removal is the whole assignment, finished before the first commute and taken up again if the sky is not done. Around Fort Lupton and the towns close by, the measure of a night like that is simple — a driveway clear, a path to the door, and nobody late.
