Out along the Platte Valley the fields are worked in stripes — hay, corn, sod — and there is no reason a front yard should not hold a line just as true. Frontier Turf keeps lawns cut, trimmed and edged around Fort Lupton, holding the grass at a height that can take the June sun without scorching. A spring cleanup opens the season, weekly cutting carries it, and fall leaf work closes it out. At nearly a mile up the light is fierce and the air is thin and dry, so turf still green in August is turf somebody has been thinking about since April.
