About Turf Tamers Landscaping

A wet Fort Collins May turns bluegrass wild in about a week: shin-deep, seed heads up, the whole yard leaning whichever way the wind last came off the foothills. Turf Tamers Landscaping is built for exactly that morning, bringing the height down in passes, cutting the borders back to their proper lines, hauling the clippings, and leaving a lawn that looks like it was never out of hand. Out past Taft Hill the mown grass shades into real prairie at Cathy Fromme, and part of the craft is knowing where the tame part is supposed to end. Mowing, trimming, edging, spring and fall cleanup, run on a schedule that does not let a yard get ahead of you. By noon the wind is up again, and there is nothing left loose for it to move.
