About D & D Handyman and Landscaping Services

Snow starting at dusk over the old neighborhoods north of the river — Buckingham, Andersonville, Alta Vista — falls into narrow streets and onto short front stoops. D & D Handyman and Landscaping Services clears ground like that: shovel work on walks and steps, plowing wherever a truck fits, salt and ice control on the spots that sit in shade all day. Small lots take patience more than horsepower, and the distance between a passable walk and a safe one is about ten careful minutes. By the time the streetlights come on, the paths are open and the porch lights fall on clear steps. It is a neighborly sort of winter work, done house by house.
