American Turf & Tree Care

About American Turf & Tree Care

The elms on the CSU Oval throw a shade you can feel ten degrees of, and half the lawns in old Fort Collins live under trees like them. American Turf & Tree Care tends grass in that dappled light, mowing, edging, aerating and clearing the leaf fall when the canopy finally lets go in October. Turf beneath big trees asks for attention rather than force, and the payoff is worth the patience: an even green running right up to the trunk flare. When cold weather arrives, attention moves to pavement — opening the walks and drives so the same block can get to work. Late-summer evenings, with sprinklers ticking somewhere down the street, are the hours this town keeps for itself.
