About R & M Landscaping LLC

This ground grew beets and sat over coal long before it grew front lawns, and you can still feel the old field lines under the street grid on a September afternoon. R & M Landscaping LLC keeps the green layer that came after — mowing through Firestone's neighborhoods, running the edges, trimming the strips along the alleys and back fences that nobody else bothers with. Autumn light out here is level and yellow and it shows every uneven cut, which is reason enough to make the pass straight. The work repeats, week to week, and the repeating is what makes a yard look settled. A block where the lawns are kept reads as a block where people stayed.
