About Twisted Vine Design, LLC

Late in the summer the Gambel oak along Upper Bear Creek goes thick and tangled, and the line between a kept yard and the open hillside gets hard to find. Twisted Vine Design, LLC draws that line — mowing the turf even, trimming back the encroaching edges, cutting borders that make the wild half look deliberate instead of accidental. Mountain lawns are small and hard-won here, framed by rock, pine and whatever the deer decided to leave alone, so the framing matters nearly as much as the grass. Clippings and fallen needles leave with the crew. What stays behind is a yard with a clear shape, holding its own against a very persuasive forest.
