About Ty The Lawn Guy

Belleview Park on a June evening smells of cut grass and irrigation water, Little Dry Creek running low under the footbridges while the light goes long and gold across the ballfields. Ty The Lawn Guy works that same hour all over Englewood — mowing, trimming, edging the sidewalk seams until the line between turf and concrete is one clean stroke, then hauling the clippings away. In the cold half of the year the same trucks carry blades and shovels, plowing drives and clearing walks so a morning that starts at fifteen degrees does not also have to start with a shovel. It is steady, repeating work, and it shows: a yard that looks tended, a path a neighbor can cross without watching her feet. Englewood and the towns along its edges, week after week.
