About Dove Creek Forestry

Elizabeth sits in the pine-dotted hills of the Palmer Divide, where ponderosa country meets the open plains, and that high ground has a way of wringing extra snow out of passing storms. Wind sweeps the fresh snow into long drifts across ranch lanes and gravel drives, sculpting ridges taller than a fence rail. Dove Creek Forestry handles snow removal in Elizabeth, opening driveways and walkways after the storms move through. Under a hard blue sky the morning after a blizzard, a cleared lane cutting between white drifts is a lovely sight, the road to town open again and the horses watching from the pasture. Running Creek lies hushed beneath its ice, and Elizabeth digs out.
