Rocky Mountain Reveg

About Rocky Mountain Reveg

Ground that gets torn up at this altitude does not heal on its own; dry high-country soil above Edwards will sit bare for years unless somebody helps it along. Rocky Mountain Reveg does the helping — seeding and overseeding thin or broken ground, feeding and aerating so roots can actually reach down, then mowing and keeping the green edges tended once they take hold. Out toward Wolcott the hillsides run sage and rabbitbrush with Castle Peak standing off to the north, a standing reminder of how slowly things grow up here and how much one season of attention is worth. The first flush of green across a slope that was nothing but dirt in April is a genuinely fine thing to stop the truck and look at. Patience is the main tool in the bed.
