About NorthPines Landscaping & Maintenance

Along Berry Creek the lodgepole and spruce throw long shade, and a north-facing yard in Edwards wakes up a good two weeks after its neighbor across the road. NorthPines Landscaping & Maintenance plans around exactly that — cutting on the schedule the shade actually sets, raking needles and duff out of turf that would smother beneath them, aerating and overseeding cool ground where grass has to compete for every hour of light. Spring cleanups pull a winter's worth of branches and road gravel off the lawn; fall cleanups put the place to bed before the ground locks up. There is something quietly good about a shaded yard that still comes in thick and even, right up to the tree line. Mostly it takes patience, and paying attention to where the sun goes.
