About Edelweiss Lawn and Garden, LLC

Edwards gets somewhere near a hundred frost-free nights a year, which means a lawn here has to fit twelve months of living into four. Edelweiss Lawn and Garden, LLC starts early, while the benchland lanes around Singletree are still in shadow and the dew hasn't burned off — mowing while the grass stands firm, trimming close to fence posts and stone, cutting a line along the walk you could set a level against. Fertilizing and aeration coax more out of thin mountain soil than it would ever give on its own, and cleanups bookend the season at both ends. By mid-morning the sun is over the ridge, the mower is loaded, and the yard is dark green and sharp at every border. Short seasons teach careful work, and careful work is the entire idea.
