Weld County keeps its weather honest. Back 40 Land Management works that country north and east of Eaton, the long farm driveways and yard aprons and shop turnarounds out past the last streetlight, where a plow either shows up or the day does not start. Passes are cut wide so there is room for the next storm, gates and fill points stay reachable, and the drifted corners come down before they set hard as stone. It is plain work, and there is a real satisfaction in a clean lane running straight out to the county road.
