About Ceres Landcare

Eagle runs a full circle of a year, and Ceres Landcare works the whole way around it. The green months mean mowing and trimming on a set rhythm, beds weeded, edges cut, and cleanups when the valley wakes up in May and again when it lets go in October. The white months mean plowing, shoveled walks, and ice melt on the frozen shade behind the fairgrounds where the sun barely bothers to visit. In between come those bright false-spring weeks when meltwater runs the gutters while snow still sits up on Hardscrabble. Working a property across that entire arc means you know its drainage, its drifts and its dry corner without anyone having to explain them.
