Out on the west edge, under Twin Buttes and the mouth of Wildcat Canyon, a Tuesday afternoon in July is all heat, blue sky and the hum of somebody's mower two streets over. Lawn and More is often that mower — running the weekly rounds through Durango yards, cutting even, trimming the strips a deck can't reach, drawing clean lines along drives and walkways, and clearing away the season's litter. The "more" is everything that surrounds the grass: the borders, the corners, the leftover piles nobody wants to deal with. Handled together, a yard stops looking like a list of separate chores and starts looking like one finished place. That is the part worth taking time over.
