Denver air is thin and dry enough to pull water straight back out of a lawn, which makes irrigation less a convenience than the entire argument. J.S. Sprinklers & Aeration works that from both ends of the season — spring startups, head adjustments and zone repairs once the ground thaws, then blowouts in October before the first hard freeze splits a line. In between comes core aeration, plugs pulled out of packed Denver clay so water and air can finally reach the roots, usually paired with overseeding to thicken what is already there. A system tuned properly waters the grass instead of the sidewalk, and a lawn that drinks evenly stops going brown in patches by August. It is unglamorous, precise work, and everything green downstream depends on it.
