Desmond's Lawnwork's

About Desmond's Lawnwork's

Park Hill was laid out for trees, and its parkway maples throw a shade that lawns have to be coaxed through all summer long. Desmond's Lawnwork's takes that on street by street: mowing at a height the grass can live with, edging the walks so the line between concrete and green is a decision rather than an accident, trimming close around the old stone steps. Come autumn those same yards vanish under leaves, and the cleanup gets them back. There is a Saturday-morning rhythm to the whole thing — mower, trimmer, blower, and then the quiet afterward. The reward is a lawn that looks cared for from the sidewalk and from the porch swing both.
