About Rescue Tree Service

Two rivers meet at Delta — the Gunnison coming down out of its canyon, the Uncompahgre in from the south — and the cottonwoods where they join are the biggest trees in the county. Rescue Tree Service knows that bottomland wood: it grows fast, gets heavy, and lets a limb the size of a truck go without any warning at all. They trim and prune to take weight off the weak unions, remove what has hollowed through or hangs over a roof, and move quickly when a summer squall comes down the valley and carries off half a crown. Every branch gets hauled, the drive gets swept, and the place is left the way people hope to find it. There is a quiet satisfaction in the last look back at a yard that is whole again.
