Boyd's Lawn Care

About Boyd's Lawn Care

Down at Confluence Park the Uncompahgre gives itself up to the Gunnison, and on a July evening half of Delta drifts that direction to stand in the cottonwood shade. Boyd's Lawn Care spends those long days on the yards between the rivers and the highway, mowing and trimming while the swamp coolers hum. Come December the same streets go quiet and white, and the work changes to plowing and clearing — walks first, then the drive, then the apron where the mail carrier turns. A yard in this valley asks for both kinds of attention, and it shows when it gets them. The reward is small and repeatable: somebody steps outside, looks at their own ground, and likes what they see.
