About Quality Tree Care

Dakota Ridge takes its name from the hogback along its western edge, a long tilted spine of rock with scrub oak on its flanks and the foothills stacking up behind it. Quality Tree Care works the neighborhoods below, where a downslope wind can arrive at seventy miles an hour on a clear January night and rearrange an entire street. They prune and trim with that in mind — reducing sail, pulling deadwood, opening a crown so the gusts pass through instead of pushing. Removals happen on steep lots within sight of the Bear Creek cottonwoods, with no easy place to put a big pine, so it comes apart in measured sections. When the weather has its way anyway, the cleanup follows the same order: wood gone, ground raked, a yard that looks like Monday again.
