About Newscape Land & Lawn

Out toward Chatfield the wind crosses open ground with nothing to slow it, and the newer streets are still learning how to be neighborhoods — raw grade, young trees, lawns that have not taken hold yet. Newscape Land & Lawn works that beginning: mowing fresh turf on a gentle schedule so it roots rather than scalps, trimming, edging the new walks, sweeping up after itself every visit. A first lawn is a delicate thing at this altitude under this sun, and it repays attention faster than you would expect. Two seasons on, the grass knits together, the edges hold their shape, and the yard finally stops looking new. That is the point of the whole exercise.
