About Ohio Creek Services and Landscaping

Late-summer evenings in Crawford belong to the reservoir just south of town, where the water holds the last of the light and the Smith Fork runs low past the edge of the streets. Ohio Creek Services and Landscaping is a landscaping business that does lawn care in this unhurried corner of western Colorado, among hayfields and pinyon-dotted mesas. Through the warm months the grass is kept mown, trimmed and edged, a soft counterpoint to the rough country beyond the fence. When the evening breeze comes off the water, a just-trimmed lawn is the right place to watch the first stars come out over Crawford. It is a small, steady kind of beauty, renewed each week of the season.
