Uprooted Tree Care

About Uprooted Tree Care

January in Cortez is bone-dry and bright, the bean ground pale and bare, frost holding in the shade until noon. That is the season Uprooted Tree Care does its best pruning: sap down, leaves gone, the whole structure of a cottonwood laid out plain against a hard blue sky. They trim for clearance and health, remove what has died back or crowded a roof, and bring the tall ones down piece by piece rather than laying them across a fence. When wind or heavy snow tears a limb loose, the work runs the same way — take the break out clean, haul the wood, leave the ground bare underneath. A tree pruned in the cold comes back in May looking like it always meant to grow that way.
