About Coloradoscapes by Southwest

McElmo Canyon runs west out of Cortez between red walls, cottonwoods tracking the creek and the light turning everything copper an hour before dark. Coloradoscapes by Southwest looks after lawns in the town those canyons open onto, handling the weekly mow, the trim work, and edges cut hard along drives and beds. The ground here is red, tight and thirsty, so aeration, feeding and consistent weed control are what let a lawn keep its color through a Four Corners summer. Spring cleanup clears winter's dust and dead growth; fall cleanup takes the leaves before they can mat down. Against all that sandstone, a well kept green yard is a genuinely startling thing to come home to.
