About Vanta Outdoors Inc

At two in the morning the bluffs above Palmer Park are just a darker shape against a dark sky, and the only lights moving in the city belong to people with work to do. Vanta Outdoors Inc is one of them — a snow removal crew in Colorado Springs running plows and shovels through the hours nobody else is awake for. Sandstone hills split this city into pockets, and every pocket holds its snow a little differently, the north slopes staying white long after the rest has given up. The good part of the night is the final pass: headlights on wet black asphalt, walks squared off at the edges, a place ready for a day that has not started yet. They serve Colorado Springs and the Front Range communities around it. Then they head home while the sun comes up over the plains.
