Presto Landscapes

About Presto Landscapes

A chinook can arrive in Colorado Springs the morning after a storm and take eight inches down to puddles by lunch — which sounds like a gift until those puddles freeze again at dusk. Presto Landscapes works the narrow window between, plowing the drive and scraping the walks while the snow is still liftable rather than welded to the concrete. Speed is the whole trick here, and so is knowing which north-facing steps the warm wind will never reach. Salt and sand go where the sun does not. Come evening, when the temperature drops off the Front Range like a stone, the surfaces that were cleared stay clear.
