About Heritage Lawn and Landscaping

Monument Creek runs the length of the city's front yard, and the streets around it — Acacia Park, the courthouse blocks, the old houses just west of downtown — hold some of the tidiest small lawns in Colorado Springs. Heritage Lawn and Landscaping keeps that kind of ground: level cuts, honest edges along the historic sidewalk stone, clippings cleared off the walk before anyone loads up. Downtown grass takes a beating from heat coming off brick and asphalt, so cutting height gets adjusted rather than fixed. The work runs weekly through the growing season, with the cleanups that bookend it in spring and fall. A trim lawn downtown is a quiet form of hospitality.
