Absolutely Green

About Absolutely Green

Along Monument Creek the trees leaf out weeks before anyone in Colorado Springs believes in spring, and the lawns on either side of that valley come back green in a rush. Absolutely Green mows, trims and edges through that season and the long dry ones after it, when high-plains sun at six thousand feet asks a great deal of turf. Blades stay sharp so grass is cut rather than torn, edges along walks and drives get a line you can follow with your eye, and clippings never end up in the gutter. Cleanups in spring and fall pull leaf drift out of fence corners and bed edges, while aeration and overseeding answer the hard, packed ground that August leaves behind. A lawn that looks unhurried on a Saturday morning takes a lot of small decisions on a Tuesday — that is the work.
