About A Cutting Edge Tree Service

Colorado City sits under Greenhorn Mountain in the pinyon and juniper country south of Pueblo, where October mornings come in cold and blue and the glare off Lake Beckwith is almost too bright to look at. A Cutting Edge Tree Service works these mesa lots — thinning pine back from a roof, pruning dead juniper wood out of a crown, taking down the leaners on ground that never was flat. Slope work asks for planning: the wind runs off the mountain in long pushes, and every drop gets thought through twice. After a storm tears a crown apart, they cut the broken wood and move it well away from the buildings, which counts for a lot in dry country. There is real pride in leaving a place open, tidy, and put back together before the sun goes behind the ridge.
