Look west from a Clifton front yard and the Colorado National Monument stands out of the valley in red terraces, dark against the afternoon. Turf cut in clean parallel passes catches low light like corduroy, and there is no reason a yard in Clifton should not look that way. A full pass with the blower over the concrete is what makes the job finished rather than merely done. Big country deserves a tidy foreground.
