Axis Lawns

About Axis Lawns

A lawn is mostly lines: the run of the mower, the border where turf meets walk, the angle a yard makes with the street. Axis Lawns treats those lines as the work itself, across the grid of streets around Willow Creek and out toward the newer blocks east. Mowing on a set rhythm, edging the drives and sidewalks, trimming the corners a deck cannot reach, feeding and aerating so the color holds through a dry Colorado August, and raking down the leaf fall. Morning is the hour for it here — shade still long, air not yet hot off the plains, dew showing every pass. By afternoon the yard is simply, quietly correct.
