Yard Crafters

About Yard Crafters

Snow in Cañon City is a visitor rather than a tenant — it arrives overnight, silvers the ridge under Skyline Drive, and burns off the south-facing slopes by noon while the shaded north side of a driveway keeps every inch of it. Yard Crafters works both halves of that arithmetic: driveways and walkways cleared before the commute, and then, when the valley greens up, mowing, edging and trimming carried through the warm months. There is real pleasure in pulling up to a house at five in the morning and leaving a clean, dark strip of pavement where a white one was. Come June the same yards get a straight cut and a clean border, week after week. One outfit, the cold hours and the long ones both.
