The Riverwalk follows the Arkansas along the old rail bed, and in late September the cottonwoods over it turn the whole corridor yellow for about ten days. Canon Landscape keeps the town's yards through both halves of that year — mowing, trimming and bed care while things are growing, plowing and shoveling once they aren't. Autumn is the hinge: leaves off, beds cut back, irrigation blown out, and the shovels moved to the front of the shed. Winter mornings are for opening driveways and scraping walks down clean before anyone needs them. It's the same properties in both seasons, which is why the gates, the gravel and the low spot at the end of the drive are already known.
